Katie graduated Cornell University with a BFA in painting and a BA in Physics. She spent the next 15 years working in creative R&D for the Walt Disney Company and several startups focused on imaginative products for children.

 

In 2025 she returned to her practice as a painter, starting a new career as an artist and illustrator.
